I opened my online store, Twizabelle's Treasures in 2013. Before that I spent most of my life as a florist and managing flower shops. This is when my love of crafts and everything creative began and I was soon making handmade greeting cards and gifts as well as upcycling furniture.

After having my little girl, being a single mum meant I was unable to carry on with my job due to the long hours that I worked. Busy times would mean me working till the early hours of the morning and on some occasions I'd work through the night and not go home at all. 

 

So having my daughter, Izabelle, was the push that I needed to set up my own business, doing what I love.....being creative! I do miss my floristry but I absolutely love designing things and coming up with new ideas. There's always something going on in my head!

I don't really have much time for hobbies as the business and being a mum keep me very busy, but what spare time I do have I spend with Izabelle. We usually end up making something together. Last week it was fairy houses and googly eyed pencil toppers! I'm very lucky that she loves being creative too. She loves getting involved and doing what she can to help. She's even got her own Twizabelle's Treasures apron which we made together as she wants to be 'a maker' (as she calls me) just like mummy!

As I wanted a business name that meant something to me, I decided to name it after my daughter,  Izabelle Twizabelle as I like to call her, and so Twizabelle's Treasures was born. I love having my own business doing what I love, but what makes it even more special is knowing that my daughter loves it too!
